For ongoing retainer partnerships, we require a minimum 3-month commitment. This ensures we have the time to implement effective systems, optimise workflows, and create measurable impact for your business. Following the initial term, the engagement can be ended with 30 days’ written notice.

We always begin with a discovery call — a 30-minute conversation to understand your business, your goals, and whether we’re the right fit to work together. Before any work begins, we’ll issue a Letter of Engagement outlining the agreed scope of services, responsibilities, timelines, and fees, ensuring clarity and transparency from the start.

For ongoing retainer services, invoices are issued on the 1st of each month with 14 days to pay. Payment can be made via bank transfer or direct debit. We do not charge any card processing fees. For project-based work, we typically invoice 50% upfront and the remaining 50% upon completion.

Two Horizons is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our fees. All prices shown are the amounts you pay.

It depends on the service. Aleksandra's bookkeeping services are for UK-registered businesses and international founders with UK entities — everything is done in compliance with HMRC requirements. Joanna's operations and leadership consulting is fully international — she works with founders and businesses across the UK, Europe, and worldwide.

No. Aleksandra is a certified Xero specialist, but she's worked across all the major cloud accounting platforms — QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Sage, and Dext included. If you're already set up on something that works for you, there's no need to switch. If your current setup isn't working, she can advise on whether a migration makes sense.

Absolutely. Clean-up and catch-up work is one of the most common starting points. We assess the backlog, quote for getting things sorted, and then move into a regular monthly package once your books are in order. There's no judgement — it happens to most growing businesses at some point.

Yes. Both Aleksandra and Joanna are fluent in English and Polish. If you're a Polish founder or entrepreneur running a business in the UK or Europe, we can handle the entire engagement in Polish — including emails, calls, and documentation.

Usually within 1–2 weeks of the discovery call, depending on scope and what needs to be in place before we begin. For bookkeeping, we need access to your accounts and a signed Letter of Engagement. For consulting, we start with a diagnostic session before any implementation begins.
